We are looking for an experienced Investment Executive / Senior Investment Executive to join the Manchester team of FW Capital.  Sourcing, appraising, and executing loan and mezzanine investments into SMEs across the North West of England. 

 

You will source investment opportunities through sustained and active business development activities including building and maintaining strong relationships with key business introducers to generate a consistent pipeline of suitable opportunities. You will carry out comprehensive due diligence including management, financial and commercial assessments. You will negotiate investment terms and legal documentation to ensure alignment with commercial objectives and fund parameters. You will prepare clear and robust investment proposals for approval by Fund Manager, Fund Director or Investment Committee. 

 

A full driving license is required for this position. 

 

Having strong knowledge and understanding of the public sector’s role in SME finance and good awareness of the regional business environment is advantageous. An existing strong network of Key Business Introducers in Manchester and the surrounding area is important. We are looking for someone with a strong track record in leveraged finance, cashflow lending or corporate finance. You will need an in depth understanding of debt and mezzanine investment structures and a good knowledge of risk assessment methodologies. Strong financial analysis skills, confident decision-making and excellent communication skills are key to success in this role. Professional qualifications such as an accountancy or banking exams are desirable but not essential.
